Smart Grid Australia Conference

The next conference is aimed to address the important smart grid developments that are happening in Australia. These will be presented and discussed with leading experts in their fields. Topics include: 

  • Action plan for consumer campaigns aimed at informing them about smart grids and engage them in this process.
  • An update on the Smart Grid/Smart City Project and SGA’s involvement in it. We also aim to indicate what opportunities this offers for our members.
  • Progress report on the use of the NBN for smart grids.
  • The Home Automation Network and its possible role in the planned consumer activities.
  • Reaction from government and others on the R&D Roadmap and new projects that could potentially evolve from here.
  • The economic benefits of smart grids in relation to the green economy and the new jobs that this will generate.
  • Smart Grid Case Studies from two electricity companies.
